How we score

An open formula,

Every score is a position-weighted average of the ingredients' safety ratings — the top of the INCI list weighs more, because that's where concentration lives. Published toxicology in, a transparent 1–10 score out.

Where do the scores come from?

From published toxicology and dermatology research. Each ingredient carries a safety rating; the product score is a position-weighted average — and the formula is open.

Is this medical advice?

No. We help you read labels and understand research. For skin conditions, see a dermatologist — and bring your scan history along.

What happens to my data?

Scans and profile are stored securely, used only to run the app, and you can delete everything from your account at any time.

Is there an Android version?
